Tight 22-24

After reading 22-24, answer the two questions below. Make sure you label question 1 and question 2 in your answer.

Question 1:
Do you think Mike is a good friend to Brian? Why or why not?

Question 2:
In chapter 24, Brian’s mom gives him advice. Do you think this is good advice? Make a prediction, will Brian follow his mom’s advice?

Q1. No, I don't think that Mike is a good friend for Brian. I think that he is a bad influence on him. He is kinda forcing Brian to skip school with him because Brain just thinks that He looks cool when he does that. Also Mike calls him soft if he doesn't. He also doesn't share anything when Brain shares a lot. Kamau a much better friend for Brain.
Q2. I think that this is good advice from Ma. I predict that Brian will follow Ma's advice. He might not do it right away, but I bet he will do it eventually. Brian's feelings will soon shine through.

No I do not think Mike is a good friend for Brian. At first, Mike was a great match for Brian, doing harmless things like reading comics and drawing. Then when they’re very comfortable together, Mike starts doing troublemaking and mischievous things like cutting school and train surfing. Mike is also sometimes rude to Brian and calling him soft. In the end I think Mike and Brian won’t be friends and will meet up with Kamau again and be friends with him.

Q2: I think Ma’s advice could potentially be good. I think at first Brian will not follow Ma’s advice, because at the end of chapter 24 we find Brian doubting Ma’s advice and trying to resort to himself for wisdom, but I think he will later realize that Ma’s advice was the better option.

Question One: I think Mike could be a good friend but is a bad influence you don’t want to follow in Mike’s footsteps because of his habits. Question 2: I think Bryan will take his Mom’s advice even though he was doubting it for a second he will eventually realize that his mom is right.

Question 1:
No, I don't think Mike is a good friend to Bryan. I think because a good friend doesn't put pressure on another friend to do something extremely awful, dangerous or both. He used to be a good friend at the start but, I think that he might have just wanted to become a close enough friend to Bryan so that he would do what Mike told him to and wouldn't snitch on him.

Question 2:
I think that Ma's advice is really good advice. I think that at first Bryan might not really take the advice, but eventually and slowly Bryan will start to actually use the advice and he will get other and closer friends but he will still be friends with Mike just more distantly.

Q1:I do not think mike is a good friend to Bryan Because he constantly makes Bryan do things he does not want to do.Q2: I think moms advice about Mike being like a brother is bad advice because Mike is being a bad person and won't stop.

I don’t agree with you on question one. I think Mike is a fake face but is potentially a good friend depending on the circumstances.
