After reading 25-29, answer the two questions below. Make sure you label question 1 and question 2 in your answer.

Question 1:
How do Mike and Brian’s reactions to what happened to Little Kevin differ? Why do you think they had different reactions?

Question 2:
Pa doesn’t seem to be the rule-following type; however, when he finds out about Brian skipping school, he is very upset. Did this surprise you? Why or why not? Why do you think Pa was so upset when he, himself, is a rule-breaker?

Q1: I think Bryans and Mikes reactions to what happened to Little Kevin differ because Mike didn't really care about him and only became friends with him to make Bryan jealous, And also that Bryan is a caring person and saw him as a friend. Q2: Pa getting very upset at Bryan did not surprise me because no one wants their child to skip school, even if they did it as a kid.

I totally agree with you on question 2 how no matter what, a parent should care that their child skipped school.

Q1: Mike and Bryan's reactions to what happened to Little Kev differ because Brian's reaction was worried and concerned for Kev, because Kev might get sent to juvenile or snitch on Mike and Brian. In conclusion, Brian's reaction was sympathetic. On the other hand, Mike's reaction was totally careless and selfish. He had no care that Kev might get into tons of trouble. Mike also says that Kev will catch a beatdown if he snitches, Mike acting very nonchalant as he says this. In summary, Mike's reaction was extremely selfless and cruel.

Q2: Pa getting very upset at Bryan does not surprise me because a father should get very mad at their son if they skip school. Although Pa is a rule-breaker, Pa just doesn't want Brian to go through the experience of jail, like him.

Question 1:
Mike and Bryan’s reactions to what happened to Little Kevin differ by Mike acting calm and cool like he doesn't care about Kev but Bryan is worried about what they will do to Little Kevin and if he will snitch on them. I think that they're reactions are like this because Mike doesn't care about what happens to Kev or about Kev at all on the other hand, Bryan is actually concerned about him and wants to look out for him also he doesn't want to get in trouble.
Question 2:
I was not surprised that Pa was mad about Bryan skipping school. I think Pa was so upset because he doesn't want Bryan to turn into a boy like he himself was. Maybe Pa wanted to make sure that when Bryan grew up he wouldn't be a bad guy.

Question 1: Mike and Bryan's reactions differ because Brian is all worried and wondering was happened to Kevin. While Mike is only caring that he wasn't who got caught. He was even happy when they got on the train and didn't care about Kevin. Brian is probably thinking this because Brian is concerned that Kev might snitch on them and that he might get in trouble. He is also thinking what will happen to Kev and will he be all right. Mike on the other hand does not care about Kev or what happens to him. He just goes straight to Starbucks.
Question 2: I was not surprised that Pa got mad about Brian skipping school. His dad might not Brian to go to jail like him. He probably doesn't want Brian to be like him and skipping school is a good stepping stone to do that.
