Chapters 1-4
After reading chapters 1-4, answer the two questions below. Make sure you label question 1 and question 2 in your answer.

Question 1:
From Page 12, Ally is talking about her Sketchbook of Impossible Things… “And then I decide that the craziest, strangest, most unbelievable thing I could ever draw is me doing something right.” How does Ally feel about herself? How does this make you feel?

Question 2:
What do we learn about Ally’s imagination? What kind of imagination does she have?

1.) When Ally is talking about her sketchbook of impossible things and says "And then I decide that the craziest, strangest, most unbelievable thing I could ever draw is me doing something right." she doesn't feel good about herself. She doesn't think she can do anything right. This makes me feel sad because it's never good to think that you can't do anything well.
2.) We learn that Ally has a very big imagination. She imagines things that many people wouldn't think about. You can see that she has a giant imagination because of her sketchbook of impossible things. I don't think that many people would think of some of those crazy things.

I agree how it’s sad that she thinks it’s a fact that she can’t do anything right.

Question 1: It makes me feel bad about how she dosent belive that she can be good. I feelthat she should belive inherself a little more and nothing is inpossable if you set your mind to it. I also belive she isnt a bad kid and just dosent know when she is being bad.

Question 2: Ally has a very big and intersting imagination. Ally has a sketchbook of inpossable things that she came up with and all of them are so cool and diffrent. SHe also thinks about tgings that others would never imagine like a melted ice cream river.

It also made me feel bad when she didn't believe that she could be good at anything

1.) It kind of tells the reader that Ally isn’t sure of herself at all, and that she knows that she’s not as smart as the other kids in her class. It makes me feel kind of sad because she doesn’t think that she can be as good as the other kids, but she can if she tries and devotes some time to learning and pays attention a lot in class.
2.) Her imagination is very different from most people because it is very open and thinks of lots of creative things. Also, she can kind of play movies in her mind that she comes up with, and they are usually about an exaggeration of what is happening right then. An example of this is when she thinks of how her teacher is like a sheriff and she is like a prisoner.

1. I think that Ally is not very confident in herself. This makes me feel bad for her that she thinks she can do nothing right.
2. Ally has a big imagination because she think about things that other kids probably wouldn't imagine. It almost feels like her imagination is the only that she can do "right".

1:allie feels like she cant do anything right and cares about other peoples opinions. i feel bad for her because she thinks that everyone thinks she is stupid and she cant do good things but its not true.

2: Ally has a big imagination and she thinks about really cool things that other people wont understand and don't think about. she also sounds like a creative person just by her thoughts and i think that is really cool.

1.]I think ally is feeling kid of insecure about herself. she needs to have more faith in herself. this makes me feel bad for her because she needs to be more open but she can't.
2.]I think ally has a very good imagination. she imagines things that others might not understand. she says she needs attention likes a fish needs a snorkel.
