1. Brian and Mike's relationship has changed a lot throughout the book. At first, Brian thought that Mike was the coolest kid he knew. Then as the story went on, Bryan was sort of on the fence of liking Mike. Finally, Bryan doesn't like Mike anymore. There relationship ended off on a bad note, but Bryan said that he was going to make up with him. I think they will become friendly, but not best friends anymore, and I don't think they are brothers.
2. I think that the theme of this story is that you shouldn't hang out with the wrong people because it shows a lot of examples in the book where he hung out with the wrong people and how he learned from it. He knew not to hang out with Mike when Ma punished him.

1.) Bryan and Mike's relationship has changed a lot. At first they were super close but then Mike started doing things Bryan didn't like. Now they are super angry at each other because Mike is even more annoying to Bryan. I think their relationship is kind of broken now. They do not like each other any more so I don't think their relationship is good. I don't think they are friends or brothers now, in the past they could be, but now they aren't even friends.
2.) I think that the theme of this story is don't become friends with the wrong people just like how Bryan became friends with Mike but Mike wasn't a good friend to him and was mean to him. You don't want a bad friend like Mike was to Bryan.

Question 1: Brian and mike relation ship was all over the place. In the beginning of the relationship they got along in both like comics but later Brian finds out that he isn’t a great person and has bad ideas. But Brian wants to give him a chance so he still he stays friends with him. Until finally Brian can’t hold it anymore and Mike and Brian get into a fight and now the relationship isn’t so good and I don’t think their brothers or even friends anymore.

Question 2: I think the theme of the story is a boy who doesn’t quite know what to do and doesn’t want to be called soft and wants to make friends but has a hard time because he doesn’t have money and his dad is in jail.

1: i think that brian and mikes friendship is very tense after they go in a fight but i think they are going to make up and have an ok friendship. i dont think they will have the same friendship as they did but it will be okay.
2:the theme is that sometimes people can be similar and have a lot of drama and make people do bad things but sometimes a good friendship can relive drama and make you happy.
