Chapters 25-29

After reading 25-29, answer the two questions below. Make sure you label question 1 and question 2 in your answer.

Question 1:
How do Mike and Brian’s reactions to what happened to Little Kevin differ? Why do you think they had different reactions?

Question 2:
Pa doesn’t seem to be the rule-following type; however, when he finds out about Brian skipping school, he is very upset. Did this surprise you? Why or why not? Why do you think Pa was so upset when he, himself, is a rule-breaker?

1: yes i think they had way different reactions. mike was the total opposite of Brian he did not care and he was only happy that he didn't get caught. but Brian actually felt bad and he was surprised at mike i would be to i did not like mikes reaction.

2: no it did not surprise me because pa just got out of jail and he did not like it at all and i think he doesn't want Brian falling into his ways and end up in jail. i feel like pa would feel very bad and feel guilty.

1.) Bryan and Mike's reactions differ when Little Kevin is caught by Police. Bryan is super angry and annoyed because Mike doesn't care about what would happen to Little Kevin. Bryan thinks that Kevin will snitch on them but Mike thinks that he has it "covered".
2.) When Pa was angry at Bryan I was not surprised. I knew if he got in trouble that his parents would be very angry. I think Pa was so angry because he didn't want his kids to be like him, and go to jail.

Yeah I how you said that Pa doesn’t want Bryan to go to jail and he was just telling Bryan how bad jail was.

yes i think Brian and Mike have two toatally diffrent opions when Kevin gets cought.

1.) Their reactions differ a lot. First of all, Mike doesn’t even care about how Little Kevin was taken by the police and is worrying about himself. Bryan is really scared for Kevin and wondering where he is. I think their reactions are so different because they have totally different personality’s. Mike is kind of like the backstabbing friends Bryan’s pa was talking about. Bryan is being influenced by Mike, but is usually caring and usually doesn’t break rules.
2.) I think Pa cares that Bryan was breaking the rules even though he breaks rules himself because he doesn’t want Bryan to end up like him and doesn’t want him to have to go to jail or anything like that. This surprised me a little bit, but also even though Bryan doesn’t have a good relationship with his pa, I think his pa would still care.

1. Bryan and Mike's reactions were completely different. Mike didn't care that Little Kevin was taken away by the police. He was just scared that he was going to get caught. Bryan, on the other hand who didn't like Little Kevin very much, felt bad for him and was angry at Mike for not caring.
2. This sort of surprised me because Pa does not rule follow. I think Pa was upset because he doesn't want Bryan being like him and breaking the rules.

You’re right how you said that their reactions were totally different and how Mike didn’t care at all that Little Kevin was taken by the police and was probably in the police station.

1.)I think Bryan was very surprised that the cops got little Kev. mike didn't really care because I don't think he likes little Kev that much and he thinks he is soft.

2.) it did not surprise me because I think pa learned from going to jail that time. he knew what he was doing wrong so he did not want Bryan to follow the same path as him.

Question 1: I think Mike and Brain have two toatally different reactions to little Kevin get cought. When kevin gets cought Brain wants to go back and save him and Brian feels very bad and feels like he is very mean. But Mikes reaction is super diffrent. When Keven gets cought Mike dosent care at all and the only things he cares about is if he gets cought or if Kevin will snitch on him and Brain.

Question 2: I wasent to suprised when Pa gets mad when he finds out Brian was skipping school. I feel this way because he knows Brian is a good kid and he is super suprised when he heres this. I also think Pa dosent want Brian to turn out like him and go to jail.
